The standing committee of the municipal Party committee in Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – convened a meeting on Aug 30.

They met to discuss the speeches and implement the instructions from the national and provincial organization work conference. 

The meeting, led by Zhu Lifan, Party secretary of Taizhou, focused on key issues such as flood controls, flood relief, post-disaster restoration and reconstruction and attracting young people and talent.

The meeting also discussed the need to strengthen organizational work in the city. Various aspects of this kind of work were examined and planned – including attracting, selecting and training people. 

The goal is to provide a strong and guaranteed organizational system that paves the way for Taizhou's modernization.

In addition, the meeting adopted policies and measures to accelerate the recruitment of young personnel and other talent. Prioritizing this, accurate policy measures and the best resources and services will be provided to create a favorable environment for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Later, the meeting addressed the selection of the 16th group of Stallion Award recipients.
