The Taizhou Yong'an Port, a key grain transshipment hub serving major grain and oil enterprises in the region, has already surpassed 700,000 tons of cargo throughputs this year.
Zeng Jian, general manager of Yong'an Port, reported that in 2024, the port handled 13.28 million tons of cargo, an increase of 2.23 million tons (20.19 percent) compared to the previous year. The robust performance underscores Taizhou's growing role as a vital logistics hub along the Yangtze River, supporting regional economic development and international trade.
