As the launch of the year 2025 gets closer and closer, Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province is preparing a raft of superb activities to ring in the New Year.

In the Fengcheng River scenic area, a concert will be staged at the water stage of Sanshui Bay at 7 pm on Dec 31, while an iron flower show will be performed at 7:30 pm on Dec 31, 2024 and on Jan 1, 2025.

A drone performance featuring the snake, as 2025 marks the Year of the Snake, will also take to the skies at 7:30 pm on Dec 31, above Wanghai Pavilion.

Elsewhere, a music fireworks show and a fishing festival cultural performance will be held in the Qinhu River scenic area and Qinhu Wetland Park respectively on the last day of the year.

Taizhou's nighttime light and shadow performance of Dreaming of Qinhu Lake will also be staged from Jan 1 to Feb 15 in the scenic area.

In the Qiuxue Lake Scenic Area, people can also fly their wish balloons when the year 2025 comes, accompanied by a New Year fireworks show.
