The Qinhu Lake Apailang Creativity Land opened its doors on Aug 8 in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, offering immersive family experiences that spark creativity through interactive play.

Highlights include the Joyful Deer natural interactive zone, where children can climb through forest trails and explore elk relics; the Harvest Continent creative farming zone, combining agricultural practice with creative education; the Boat Story Camp cultural camping zone, offering unique camping experiences and intangible cultural heritage markets; and the Genius Fish Pond fishing culture zone, where the Crab Trap Adventure lets visitors have fun in the water while discovering local fishing traditions.

Throughout the summer, children can use wristbands to track their progress, complete creativity-based challenges, and earn titles like "Super Sailor" and "Nature Scholar".

According to Li Xinjian, a culture and tourism expert, the park redefines the family tourism experience by integrating AI, big data, and IoT into interactive settings. "Traditional parks often focus on passive, standardized rides," he said. "Here, technology becomes a creative companion, engaging with children and sparking ideas — shifting from simply burning energy to inspiring minds."

Mao Yun, deputy director of Jiangyan district, Taizhou, noted that the park enhances Qinhu Lake's tourism offerings. The development also boosts local employment and supports nearby dining and lodging businesses, contributing to rural vitalization and injecting new vitality into Jiangyan's cultural tourism industry.
