International exchange and collaboration meeting of headmasters in Jiangsu held in Taizhou

On the morning of November 9, the 12th International Exchange and Collaboration Meeting of Headmasters in Jiangsu was held in Taizhou, where 250 people including representatives of administrative departments for education and institutions, headmasters and educational experts from 13 countries such as the US, Britain, and Australia and part headmasters in Jiangsu took part in. Wang Xuefeng, Deputy Mayor of Taizhou, delivered a speech, and Xi Aiguo, Deputy Chairperson of the Taizhou Municipal Committee under the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Director of the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Education, attended the meeting.


"Internationalization is a future trend of education and provides a wider stage for urban development," said Wang Xuefeng. Moreover, educational reform should face to all children, strive to make each child grow up healthily, and seek for routes and direction suitable for development. And the theme of the meeting which was educational reform pointed to core quality was exactly linked with the proposition.


Xi Aiguo said that in recent years, after comprehensive reform and transformation development, Taizhou education had created many innovative measures with Taizhou features and had certain influence on Jiangsu and even the whole country. Also, educational internationalization in the whole city had been constantly propelled, as a total of 46 schools had established friendly relationship with overseas schools, and 146 foreign experts or teachers were employed; and the city had co-built 4 Confucius classes with hundreds of students.
