On the afternoon of November 2, Qu Futian, Secretary of the CPC Taizhou Municipal Committee, met with Hong Yaokun, Director-General of Taiwan Industrial and Commercial Construction & Research Association, and his group members, both sides made friendly exchanges on deepening cooperation. Taiwan Industrial and Commercial Construction & Research Association has nearly 2500 members, the investment fields involves clothing, food, shelter, transportation, education and other aspects, which is a strongest industrial and commercial association with the most business operators in Taiwan, and has an important influence on the economic society in Taiwan.

 

Qu Futian welcomed the arrival of the delegation of Taiwan Industrial and Commercial Construction & Research Association, and briefly introduced the development of economic society in Taizhou. He said that the Taizhou had obvious regional advantages, strong industrial base, excellent ecological environment and profound historical and cultural heritage, the next step, Taizhou would take advantage of the power of the whole city to build the pilot city of big health industry cluster and development of Yangtze River Economic Zone, accelerate the expansion of biological medicine to "medicine, medical treatment, health keep, food, tourist" big health industry of full-industrial chain, and had big cooperation space with Taiwan businessmen. The ability of international vision, research and development and making full application of the capital market of Taiwan businessmen was worthy to be learned by enterprises in Taizhou, he hoped that both sides could strengthen cooperation and exchange, and achieve common development.

 

Hong Yaokun said that more Taiwan businessmen would know and understand Taizhou, and find more cooperation opportunities in Taizhou with the help of the "2017 Cross Strait Medical and Health Industry Development Forum".
