On the morning of October 12, DAS Solar Taizhou Project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan was officially launched. After the project is completed, the annual sales is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan and the tax revenue will be about 600 million yuan.

DAS Solar Taizhou Project is planned to cover an area of about 400 mu (1 mu = 0.06667 hectares) and will be constructed in two phases in succession. The first phase will build the 3GW single crystal high-efficiency solar cells and 1GW high-efficiency solar modules. The two phases are expected to be completed and put into operation in 2021. After the project is completed, the photovoltaic cell production capacity in Hailing District will reach 7.4GW, and the module production capacity will reach 15.4GW.
