On April 24, after reviewing the Jiangsu Province Workplace Safety Video Conference, the Taizhou Workplace Safety Video Conference was held to deploy the current workplace safety work and the safety precautions during the May Day holiday. Liu Hao, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Taizhou Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Taizhou, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the meeting, the Office of the Taizhou Municipal Safety Commission reported the accident situations in the first quarter. The Office of the Taizhou Municipal Commission of Fire Safety interpreted the special fire safety action plan of "life is paramount and hidden dangers must be eliminated". Related leading officials from Xinghua, Hailing District, the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Public Security and the Taizhou Municipal Health Commission made speeches.
