Party building meeting held in Taizhou city

The municipal Party committee of Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – convened a group leadership meeting on April 15.

This was to deliberate on the implementation of pivotal concepts regarding Party building and the Party's self-revolution. The session centered on the city's Party discipline study and education, as well as Party building work for the current year.

The meeting placed a strong emphasis on bolstering the Party's discipline and advancing comprehensive and stringent governance of the Party.

Key objectives of Party discipline learning and education were underscored – with a focus on loyalty, cleanliness and accountability.

The meeting stressed the need for practical initiatives to ensure tangible results on the ground.

Moreover, the gathering highlighted the significance of adhering to the country's and the provincial Party committee's requirements – emphasizing thorough study and comprehension, as well as promoting a deep understanding of the rules and discipline.

Additionally, the meeting underscored the imperative to intensify the fight against corruption and ensure the enduring effectiveness of discipline building.

Furthermore, the meeting underscored the importance of 2024 as the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and as being a pivotal year for achieving the objectives and tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25).

The meeting also highlighted the necessity of reinforcing political theory learning, personnel selection, and grassroots-level foundation building – coupled with the reform of key areas of the supervision mechanism and system developments, to uphold a transparent and upright political environment.
