Taizhou, Jiangsu marked its 28th anniversary as a prefecture-level city on Aug 12 with a conference dedicated to entrepreneurs. The event aimed to promote entrepreneurial spirit and advance high-quality economic and social development.
Wan Wenhua, mayor of Taizhou, stated that the city's progress over the last 28 years is largely due to the hard work and dedication of its entrepreneurs. She emphasized that every achievement in Taizhou is a testament to the relentless efforts of its business community.
Wan assured participants that Taizhou is a city that values and supports entrepreneurs. "The municipal government is committed to addressing their needs with effective reforms and inclusive policies, with the focus on improving enterprise services, accelerating project development, and optimizing the business environment," she remarked.
Keynote speeches were delivered at the conference by company representatives including Xu Haoyu, chairman of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, and Xia Hanguan, chairman of Pacific Precision Forging.
During the conference, the "Several Measures for Caring About and Supporting Entrepreneurs in Taizhou" were announced, underscoring the city's commitment to creating a supportive environment for business growth.
