The review considered various topics such as the station's structure, water supply, drainage and electricity system.
The high-speed railway station – to have a total floor space of 40,000 square meters – will be situated in Baima town in Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, also known as Gaogang district.
The six-story station building will feature two distinctive and imposing structures.
The new complex is said to be employing a new design philosophy involving station-city integration. It will have a comprehensive functional system, boasting multiple transportation modes – engaging with national railways, urban railways, long-distance buses and tourist buses.
In addition, the building is equipped with a rapid ramp system to directly reach the passenger drop-off platform, to improve the efficiency of entering and exiting the station.
Integrating railway exits, municipal transportation transfers and long-distance distribution centers, it is expected to achieve fast, efficient and safe transfers.
