Overview: Eumseong, North Chungcheong Province is located in the northeastern part of Republic of Korea. It is an important agricultural county in Republic of Korea. Covering an area of 522.1 square kilometers, Eumseong has a population of more than 86,000. Ban Ki-moon was born in Eumseong. Eumseong has good business environment and developed industrial parks. At present, 1,200 enterprises have settled in industrial parks and agricultural industrial parks to produce metal, non-metal, electrical and electronic, chemical, food processing and other related products. The most distinctive agricultural product in Eumseong is ginseng. Other main agricultural products and cash crops include pepper, peaches, watermelon, apples and tobacco.
